The new schoolbuilding
During the summer 1998 Lastunen will have a new schoolbuilding, which was started to build in autumn 1997.
Some parts of the building came from Sääksjärvi, but it was built to Lastunen permanently. Old pieces came
from Sääksjärvi part by part and they were put to the permanent base. All the elements got the new face and
almost the whole building was done by new parts. It was designed with the help of the teachers in Lastunen school.
New school classes were designed to fulfil requirements of Lastunen school so the new building is very nice.
It is very nice to have a new schoolbuilding, but it is still much of work to be done during the summer. We have to move
almost all our things to the new building. In the old building we will have lessons in gymnastic and tecnical handwork.
